On the 26th January each year Nationally we celebrate our heritage--so parties, Ceremonies, awards, etc are celebrated all over.
Our Rotary Club sponsors a citizenship ceremony in our local parkland, and below is a shot taken of the formal ceremony--note the folks in the foreground are all waiting on their official welcome and induction as Aussie citizens. 91 in all this year. This style of ceremony is enacted all over the nation.
