Winter is indeed one of my favorite seasons! Given our travel schedule I have been grateful for a good early winter this year. It's been sometime that we've had this quantity of the white stuff this early. Today we had near blizzard conditions with new snow and some very stiff winds that plugged up most of the roads. Later in the day the sky cleared and the day ended with a great sunset. Tommorow most of the area schools will be closed due to the poor road conditions.

And with schools closed for the day, that means I get an extra day off work. I love three-day weekends!
